PINT Bokbierfestival

This is the most famous and also the biggest beer festival in the Netherlands. It takes place every year at the end of October on the forecourt of Amsterdam’s Beurs van Berlage. At the Bokbierfestival every Dutch Bokbeer can be proved, sometimes there are even very old ones as well as foreign brews. The Dutch bok, said to be descended from the German ''bock'', is an autumn rather than a spring tradition and can be either top- or bottom-fermented. The festival is organised by the Stichting PINT-Bokbierfestival.
