Japan Festival
14-16 November 2008
A taste of the Orient comes to Berlin, as the city hosts the annual Japan Festival. From sushi to kung fu, this celebration is dedicated to the many facets of Japanese art and culture. Highlights include Japanese martial arts, strategic board games like shogi (chess), as well as art forms such as ikebana (flower arranging), calligraphy, origami, ink painting, kimono art and Manga comics.

Have you ever visited a museum when other people are sleeping? On the 30th of Augst you have the chance to visit over 110 museums, collections, archives, memorials and art houses in Germany’s capital.
