Prater

The 'Prater' in Vienna is more than a typical fun fair, it is a Viennese institution with an amazing flair. The park hosts more than 250 attractions and there are also a lot of gastronomic institutions. Besides its landmark, the 65 metre high giant Ferris Wheel, there can be found a lot of other interesting attractions for children and adults. The Prater Museum, which was destroyed in WW II, for example shows memories of the old Wurstelprater amusement park.
