Tuschinski Theater
From outside, this remarkable Art Deco building looks like something from a futuristic film set, whilst the interior is like entering some 1930's ballroom, with lavishly patterned carpets, expressionist paintings on the walls and stunning leaded glass decorating the ceiling.
There are even more intriguing rooms inside, such as the Oriental room, decorated in red with Chinese silk paintings on the wall. Most foreign films are subtitled in Holland, except for children's releases.
