by train

Each of the major cities have direct connections to Antwerp. Most international trains stop in Brussel-Zuid where you can change for Antwerp (trains every half-hour or so).
The Thalys train stops in Antwerpen-Berchem where there’s a connection to Antwerpen-Centraal every fifteen minutes – plus bus- and tram-connections to the city center. Thalys trains have links with Holland (Amsterdam), France (Paris, Geneva and Bourg-St-Maurice) and Germany (Cologne).
