Municipal Theater
This neoclassical theatre was built in 1895 and modeled after the Opéra Comique in Paris. It is quite spacious and seats 1,200. The theatre is used for a wide range of cultural events and performances, including concerts, plays, dance, and lectures. Many Greek-language dramas are put on here every year. In the same building as the theatre is also the Panos Aravantinos Decor Museum, which exhibits sketches and models of sets, costumes and more.
