This famous place has a well – known long history as one of the best restaurants of Catalan cuisine. Once you step inside, the smell of roasted chicken greets you. The food is simple traditional Catalan food made out of the best products. They serve snails, chicken “a l’ast”, fresh fish, rice dishes and paella. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Reno Paradis Privat has been established more than 50 years ago and is famous for its high quality cuisine. This Catalan cuisine at its best inspired from the French kitchen. They serve deer fillet, crunchy eggs, tripes, fish and a wide choice of desserts.

If you are looking for good simple Catalan food with reasonable prices, this is the place to dine. This restaurant is always packed with a young crowd that comes to enjoy Spanish dishes such as fried bananas and eggs, grilled tuna with salad, black beans and rice dishes. Garduña
This is the most famous restaurant in Barcelona’s covered food market, La Boqueria. A little claustrophobic but with a fashionable style to it, this restaurant specializes in very fresh food, as it is located in the heart of the market. Choose from seafood rice, grilled hake with herbs, steak fillet with green peppercorns or fresh fish.

El Asador de Aranda
This restaurant is located in a beautiful modernist house with a special atmosphere. Aranda serves simple Catalan food using first class products, so the food is excellent, such as burgos blood sausage, lamb and sucking pig roasted in a wood burning oven and thick house custard.

This high-class restaurant specializes in high quality Basque cuisine. Gaig
This restaurant was established 130 years ago as a country – side restaurant, and today one of the family’s offsprings has turned it into one of the best restaurants in Barcelona. You won’t find here many tourist, however locals that appreciate good food fill up the place. The chef gives modern interpretations to traditional Catalan dishes such as cannelloni with truffle cream and flan with wild berries.
