Café Aedes East & West
Cafe Aedes has two stores. One in the East (Hackeschen Höfe) and one the West (Savigny-Passagen) of Berlin. Both are very different in their design: Aedes West is more simple and elegant and Aedes East hast an interior of a combination of wood, metal and stones. However in this two cafes you can relax and absorb the pleasant atmosphere of the particular district.

Schwarzes Café
This small but very nice Cafe is absolutely an icon of Berlin. In in 1968 it was a typical example of the alternative German 'scene'. Nowadays breakfast is served round-the-clock for a reasonable price. There is a small garden at the back and a picturesque little balcony. For weary travelers or locals, it's just a few minutes away from the famous Zoological Garden train station!

Café Savigny
The Cafe Savigny is a stylish café with European cuisine which invites a varied audience. Café in the Literaturehouse
The “Café in the Literaturehouse” also called “Café Wintergarten” is located in an elegant villa in the West of Berlin. The well known traditional cafe is recommended for its literary events as well as for it's good business lunches. In warm summer days or nights the guests can also sit in the beautiful garden and drink your coffee in a welcoming atmosphere.

Café Kranzler
Berlin's most famous café is the Cafe Kranzler. Thus this place is a bit touristy but its odd 50's-style design makes it interesting and it is one of the few places that allows you to sit in the middle of the busy Ku'damm and relax.
