Although Bruges is a small and cosy city it offers a quite vivid nightlife. Numerous bars, cafes and pubs offer a great deal of Belgian beers and wines. Some bars have their own DJs who play either international or traditional Belgian sounds. Some places are a bit hidden like the “De Garre” which is located in a backyard. People who don’t like partying can take a relaxing walk through the narrow streets along the canals and enjoy the romantic atmosphere that is provided by the medieval city centre.
