This popular music store in the lower town sells music of all genres as well as some books. Compact disc sections include rap, rock, jazz, classical, metal, alternative and folk. The books are in French and English. Several concert tickets are available here as well. Ask the clerk for more information.

La Boite à Musique
This is the best place in the city to come for classical music, as they have a far wider selection than the typical CD store. There are sections of opera, early music and historical recordings as well as the alphabetical organization by composers’ names. The location of the store next to the Palais des Beaux-Arts hall means that they attract a more discerning clientele. They don’t limit themselves to exclusively classical music, and you will find some other genres here as well.
