The café is quite small, but has a certain charm, and you can either have your coffee and cakes here or take them away. There is always a good selection of cakes and scones, and other pastries vary depending on the day. They also do custom cakes for special occasions. The décor is old fashioned and rather stuffy, with old-style mirrors, cushions and some interesting lamps.

The most popular drinks here are cocktails and champagne that people sip daintily in their designer outfits. Grinzingi borozo es sorozo
This is a down-to-earth, not particularly classy wine bar, but is very affordable and has a friendly atmosphere. The wine is decent, and drinking here you will get a taste for the real Hungary, as opposed to the touristy side of things you’ll see in some of the popular theme bars, for example. For only 300 Fr or so, you get a liter of Hungarian wine, including varieties like Harslevelu, Rizling, Szurkebarat or Kekfrankos. The quality varies, but some are quite good, so it is best to sample them all.
