Dorottya Gallery
This gallery is dedicated to showcasing the works of emerging artists, but also displays works by estabished Hungarian artists. All the art is contemporary, some of it quite avant-garde. In addition to paintings, there are photographs, modern decorative sculpture, installations, and more. The exhibits generally change frequently. Admission is free.

Art Gallery
Located in a grand building on Hosok tere or “hero’s square,” this gallery features a wide range of exhibits. The displays change frequently, but are usually comprised of both photography and the applied arts, and are done by both Hungarian and foreign artists. The building itself is very impressive, and is the reason many are drawn to this gallery. It has huge columns and a very decorative façade.
