This restaurant features Greek and Cypriot dishes, and all the ingredients are imported directly from Cyprus. The restaurant makes you feel as if you are in a little Mediterranean village, with the blue and yellow decor, shutters on the windows, and watercolours on the walls. In summer, you can sit on a nice terrace outside. Specialties include fish cooked over wooden charcoal, mezze for two people or more, and the Cypriot village salad. Expect to pay around 2200 Fr here. No credit cards are accepted.

Taverna Rembetiko Piraeus
A relatively new restaurant near Vaci utca, this taverna offers excellent and creative Greek food. The menu has descriptions in multiple languages and is full of character. You might want to try “Salmon steak-splendid!” or “Horiatiki—the salad that everybody knows and loves!” Specialties also include fresh salmon, tuna steaks, and a delicious moussaka. There are also some excellent wines. The décor is very pleasant, with many plants, earthenware pottery, and frescoes on the balcony. The average cost here is aroud 2500 Fr. Credit cards are not accepted.
