Rossini
This restaurant is known for having the best Italian seafood in the city. It is one of the most elegant restaurants in the area and has a sleek and stylish atmosphere with a very pleasant staff. There is a beautiful open-air section surrounded by lush plants and flowers and live piano music adds a romantic touch. Most of the seafood dishes are sold by weight at market prices. The seabass is particularly recommended. There are also a variety of delicious vegetarian dishes, mainly featuring pasta.

Delivery and takeaway are available.

Sicilia
This restaurant is off the beaten path on a quiet side street. Everything is delicious apart from the salads which tend to be on the bland side. The minestrone, on the other hand, is one of the specialties and is exceptionally tasty. Also recommended are the chicken and veal dishes and the tagliatelle with mushrooms. The service here is unusually prompt for Cairo. Alcohol is not served, but you are allowed to bring your own. Takeaway and delivery are possible.
