This downtown restaurant serves classic Thai cuisine and is very popular. There are many noodle dishes, some fried and some in a sauce, with a variety of meat, seafood or vegetable toppings. Other specialties include spicy chicken with cashew nuts, and herring shark in basil sauce. The décor is bright and cheery, with silver stenciled fish on a blue and yellow background covering the walls. Prices range from 90- 150 kr. Credit cards are accepted.
Khun Juk Oriental
An elegant and high-quality restaurant in Vesterbro, Khun Juk offers Thai and pan-Asian cuisine. The Thai dishes are very authentic, and everything here is homemade, even the noodles. The menu features spicy and tangy soups, and entrees that range from spicy to creamy and sweet. There are many noodle dishes, as well as grilled chicken, duck and pork. Spices and seasonings like chili, lime, basil and mint are added to many of the dishes for pungeant flavour. The prices are more expensive than your average Thai restaurant, but the food is also a cut above.
