Chameleon
A well-established restaurant in Temple Bar, Chameleon offers a fabulous array of tasty and unique Indonesian dishes. The atmopshere is intimate and subdued, and the staff are friendly and relaxed. There is an a la carte menu and an “early bird menu,” which is a fixed menu with three options, but one of the best things to get is the traditional “rijst tafel,” which gives you a wide sampling of different dishes, including nine different foods and two kinds of rice. Reservations are necessary. It is also possible to rent out the “Opium room” for private parties, where you can sit on cushions and sample many kinds of Indonesian delicacies.
