Fulgor
This cinema opened in 1999, and has recently been expanded to include multiple viewing rooms. Parts of the building have also been restored to more or less how they appeared in the 1930’s, making for a unique and atmospheric place to watch movies. The cinema is conveniently located in the historic centre of Florence, near to the river Arno. They show English films (undubbed) on Thursdays.

Odeon Cinehall
The Odeon cinema is located in a grand theatre building, built by the well-known architect Piacentini in 1922. It is situated in the courtyard of a beautiful Renaissance palazzo, in a posh area of Florence. The movies shown here include major international releases as well as some lesser-known art films. This is one of the best places to find undubbed international movies. Every Monday, foreign films are shown in their original langugages, and Tuesdays and Thursdays often feature films in English. This cinema is popular with movie buffs, and has very good picture quality, hi-tech digital sound and seats 600. The interior is decorated in the Art Nouveau style.
