San Lorenzo Market (Mercato Centrale)
This market is centered around the Basilica of San Lorenzo in one of the oldest sections of Florence. It is considered to be one of the most important markets of the city, because of its long tradition, popularity, and variety of goods on offer. Its specialties are food, clothing, leather products, souvenirs and crafts. This is one market not to miss when visiting the city.

Opening times:
Spring - Fall: Mon - Sat 7 am - 2 pm, Winter: Sat only

Mercato della Cascine
This market is located in one of Florence’s most beautiful parks, the Parco della Cascine, and is open only on Tuesdays. It is a popular market because it is one of the biggest and cheapest ones in the city, and has almost everything. You can get fruits and vegetables, clothes, house wares, phone cards, shoes and curiosities here.

Mercato della Pulci
This is the most famous flea market of Florence, open every day. The atmosphere is friendly and bustling as people browse through the wide variety of items displayed, including everything from quality handcrafts to total junk. You can find old furniture and art, coins, prints, jewelry and books. The last Sunday of every month is a special day for the market, when it expands out to include the surrounding streets.

Daily 9 am - 7.30 pm

This lovely market offers all manners of fresh flowers, sold simply or in elaborate arrangements.
