Enoteca de Giraldi
This is an elegant wine bar that mixes wine tasting with art, often hosting exhibitions of local painters or other artists. It is located in what used to be the storerooms of the old Palazzo Borghese, giving it an ancient and mysterious atmosphere with its cross vaults, stone columns and old marble tables. Many locals come here on their lunchbreak, or on their way to an evening entertainment. The lunch menu includes toasted sandwiches with a variety of toppings, including fine cured meats and cheeses, grilled vegetables and truffles. Hot soups are served throughout the day, as well as appetizers like carpaccio, salads (which can also be a meal in themselves), and pastries. They also make delicious milkshakes with organic fruit.
