Abessina
This East African restaurant serves mainly vegetarian dishes in a cosy and authentic ambience. But also non-vegetarians find something to eat as they also offer lamb and chicken. The special thing about Abessina is that food is eaten in a typical Afrcian way: with your hands and with the help of the known pita bread “Enjara”.

Im Herzen Afrikas
This authentically decorated African restaurant abducts its guest into a different world. Fine sand, cosy furniture, indirect light and a special African scent bring Africa to Frankfurt. Guests get the impression to be seated in a nomadic tent. And eating methods are of course typically African: on pillows and with hands. The menu includes many vegetarian dishes, although they also have many chicken and lamb dishes. Beside the normal but exiting “eating programme” the restaurants organises many events.

Ambassel
Since 2001 the Ambassel offers Ethiopian specialities. The name comes from the part of the country where “milk and honey flows”. In order to bring their African traditions and culture closer to the guests they import herbs and spices, butter and grain from Ethiopia. As in many other African restaurants food is eaten with hands and the Enjara pita bread. The guest can choose if he wants to sit on the ground or at a table.
