Binding am Goethehaus
Located centrally close to the Hauptwache and not far away from Goethe’s birthplace. Already for 1200 years tradition and culture reigned with the spirit of the age. The rusty, simple and fresh cuisine from the Austrian regions is combined with the beer brewed in Frankfurt’s Binding brewery. Seven different draught beers and a variety of bottled beers are offered. The menu includes round of beef (Tafelspitz), white sausage and schnitzel. The service is very good and characterised by a great communication of the landlord and his guests, what creates a intimate atmosphere.

Emma Metzler
An idyllic park terrace is the highlight of this minimalist designed museum’s tavern. It unites café, bar and restaurant and is nicely changeable. Depending on time of the day or size of the groups of guest it changes from museum’s café to restaurant with German cuisine. The culinary scope ranges from sandwich to prawns. The restaurant exhibits some selected pieces from the museum which shall stimulate guests to visit the Museum for Applied Art. A wall made of glass captures the ambience of the architectural impressing park of the museum and creates a fresh and antique atmosphere at the same time.
