Antigua Bodega Castanede
Just off the Plaza Nueva you will find this old fashioned bar – restaurant with dark wood dιcor that takes you back in time to the 17th century.
The food is very tasty and yet unpretentious, which makes the Antigua Bodega Castanede the ideal place to pop in for a snack or for a good meal.
The varied menu includes a wide range of tapas, stews served in clay bowls, stuffed baked potatoes, smoked fish, homemade tarts and a divine chocolate mousse.

Meson Blas Casa
In a former house that was converted into a restaurant, lies Meson Blas Casa with its cosy atmosphere and delicious food. The chef serves mostly traditional cuisine that will not let you down. Here you can enjoy wonderful dishes as leg of pork that was cooked on a wood-burning stove, swordfish served with prunes, pine nuts, clams and shrimps, oxtail and an amazing goulash of salmon fish.

Mirador de Morayma
If you wish to enjoy a good meal with a stunning view, you should step into Mirador de Morayma. Set in the Albaicin, the outdoor terrace enjoys the wonderful vies of mountains. The menu includes a variety of rice dishes, gazpacho, roasted goat in wine sauce, grilled Spanish sausages, cod salad and a nice wine selection. Reservations are recommended.

Velazques
This restaurant was founded in 1989 on a quiet street near Plaza del Triunfo and Puerta de Elvira. The cosy restaurant is decorated in a typical Spanish style with a wood beamed ceiling, a brick – wall bar and hams hanging from the ceiling.
Chef’s specialties include baked lamb with honey, baked lamb with mint flavours, braised monkfish medallions and excellent desserts.

Opening times:
Mon – Sat: 1 pm – 4 pm and 8 pm – 11.30 pm.
Closed during August.

Sevilla
The Sevilla restaurant was founded in 1930 and has been serving classical Granadino cuisine since then. Its four dinning rooms still have the origin dιcor and the outdoor terrace overlooks the Royal chapel and cathedral.
The exquisite menu includes some wonderful dished such as baby broad beans with ham, soup with fish and shellfish and omelette with bull’s brains and testicles for the brave.

Ruta del Valleta
This well – known restaurant is located about 5 km from Granada and id definitely worth the short drive as to enjoy one of the best meals in the area. The head chef, Jose Pedraza Velazques, is one of the best chefs in Spain and his food is a total experience to all of your senses.
Some house specialities include baked salmon with persimmon compote, ostrich carpaccio served with celery and mango salad, cured ham, fried goat cheese with orange sauce and warm chocolate sponge cake with ice cream.
The restaurant has also an impressive wine cellar with a wide selection with Spanish, French and international wines.
Reservations are recommended.

Jardines Alberto
Located in a beautiful villa with a garden and a terrace that faces the Generalife, this restaurant has also a nice summer bar and two outdoor patios.
The delicious food is all Granadino cuisine with very good dishes such as pork in honey, garlic and herbs and nougat mousse with coffee cream.
