General information
Granada is pretty compact and most of the interesting sights are in walking distance from one another, but the city has a very efficient public transportation system that includes buses and taxis.

Granada’s tourist voucher is called the Bono Turistico Granada, and it includes entry to several major sights as well as a ticket to the Bus Turistico, which provides ten rides on city buses. The Bono Turistico can be purchased at the Alhambra and Capilla Real ticket offices or at Caja Granada bank, Plaza Isabel La Catolica 6 (Tel: 902 100 095).

Driving the car in the city
It is advised not to make any attempt to drive a car in the city. Vehicle access to the Plaza Nueva is restricted and many streets around the city centre are blocked by posts (pilonas) between 11 am to 1 pm and after 8 pm.
