Like most big cities, Hamburg bursts with cafes, pubs and bars. Even though the city centre is not that lively when it comes to night activities, there are a number of very nice cafes and bars that are good to relax after a busy day in the city. Beside the Schanzenviertel, the Großneumarkt and Altona, where locations line up, there are some more fancy cafes in Eppendorf and student pubs and cafes in Eimsbüttel and Hoheluft. Winterhudeis packed with bars and cafes for any taste and mood. No matter if exquisite location at the canals, an endless list of cocktails, rusty atmosphere in a wine cellar or an Irish pup, live music, readings, coffee and homemade cakes, Hamburg has it all!
