Museo de Huelva
This is the provincial museum of Huelva and contains a variety of archaeological artifacts and displays as well as art collections. There are artifacts from megalithic sites such as La Zarcita at Santa Barbara de las Casas, Tartessian objects and treasures from the burial site at La Joya, and Greek artifacts found at a variety of locations within Huelva. There is an exhibit dedicated to Roman mining, including a surviving Roman water wheel. A highlight of the fine art collection is the works by Daniel Vásquez Díaz, a contemporary artist made famous by his murals depicting the life of Christopher Columbus. There are also several temporary exhibitions that change regularly. Admission is free for members of the EU.

Casa Colón
This musuem is located in a grand 19th century house dedicated to Christopher Columbus, commemorating the 400th anniversary of his voyage to America. It houses a changing series of exhibits, mainly historical, as well as conferences. There is a section about Columbus, as well as areas devoted to important events or periods in Spanish or local history. Casa Colón is also the location of the major Latin American Film Festival every November.
