A popular café – restaurant in Bađdat street in the Asian part of the city. Especially in the morning hours a lot of people come to have their breakfast, during the day a mainly young clientele cavort in the café as well as business men from the offices around. Warm natural colours create a cosy atmosphere where you can choose from a rich menu offering warm snacks, salads, coffee, main courses and deserts. On Sundays you can enjoy a large breakfast buffet. The dishes are very big; keep that in mind when ordering a main dish and a desert! Caffe Hane
This café is located in Taksim right opposite the German Hospital in Siraselvile Street. The name “Hane” meaning “house” in old Turkish, reflects the cosy and sympathetic atmosphere. The menu includes big portions of salads, pasta as well as chicken and meat dishes which have the names of world famous cities. At the weekend they have a breakfast buffet with 10 different specialities.

The Zone Cafe lies in the heart of Nisantasi and offers a nice and young atmosphere. The loud music can sometimes be a bit distracting as it is almost impossible to have a chat. From this café you have an amazing view over the Haghia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, the Sultanahmet Mosque and the Princes Islands. It is recommendable to visit the café after 6 pm and to make a reservation at the Ön Bar.
