Aksanat Kültür Merkezi
The Akbank presents interesting activities every month in their cultural centre in Beyoglu. Laser disc projections, jazz concerts and concerts of classical music, operas and ballet is on the programme. It includes an exhibition hall for paintings and sculptures as well as ateliers for lithography and studios for classical dance. The programme is available at different branches of Akbank.

Atatürk Kültür Merkezi - AKM
Shortly called AKM, the Atatürk Kültür Merkezi has three halls. The big hall gives place to 1307 visitors and is mainly used for ballet, opera performances and concerts. Another smaller hall has 502 seats and is used as a conference room. The exhibition hall is 1200 m². The AKM hosts the Symphonic Orchestra of Istanbul and its choir, The Modern Folklore Ensemble and the Choir of classical Turkish Music.

Aya İrini (Irenen Church)
This concerts hall, which used to be a historic church, can host up to 1300 people. Every year Aya Irini receives a lot of artists and visitors for the Music Festival in Istanbul.

Cemal Resit Rey
A hall for 500 people with 2 big exhibition rooms belongs to the city community. The monthly programme for the concerts is available in all city libraries.
Lütfi Kırdar
The oldest coliseum of the city was transformed into a concert hall and an exhibition centre. The hall has a capacity of 1740 people. After the concert you can have a dinner in the famous Borsa Restaurant, where they serve traditional specialities of the Turkish cuisine.
Istanbul Gösteri Merkezi
This show tent was established in 1999, is 14.000 m² big and can host up to 5.500 people. The tent is located opposite the Atatürk Airport and possesses a very big parking place. For all those who don’t have a car, there is a shuttle service from different parts of the city. You can also use the metro to the airport.

Is Sanat Istanbul Salonu
The new concert hall that has a capacity for 820 people is located on the ground floor of the Is Towers. Tickets for concerts and other performances can be booked without any fee. There is also a shuttle service from the AKM parking place at 6 pm.

Sabancı Gösteri Merkezi (SGM)
The Sabanci cultural centre has the biggest concert hall on the Asian side of the city. The acoustic concert hall has a capacity for 912 people and is equipped with the best audio technique. It is suitable for operas, symphonic concerts, theatre, ballet and dance performances. There is a free shuttle service from Kadiköy and Taksim on performance days.
