This wine bar has a very cosy and rural atmosphere created especially by the warm wooden interior. Viktor Levi is very nice for group festivities. Especially at the weekends there are a lot of parties. The wine menu does not only include a wide selection of different wines but also a house wine Viktor Levi. Besides they have a huge variety of cold and warm “meze”, different grill specialities and pizzas. Especially recommendable are various “güvec” dishes (stew pot dishes) and the bread. So, Viktor Levi is a good possibility to start your evening with a glass of wine and some nice food.

Located in the Istiklal Caddesi, Sarabi presents itself as a dark, contemporary wine bar with a busy European atmosphere. The menu includes international and Turkish cuisine and changes every few months. Sarabi is very well know for its huge selection of wines and imported beers.

The Andon Bar is located in Taksim, the cultural and entertainment centre of Istanbul. Nuteras / Nu Pera
This bar is located next to the Pera Palace Otel and is divided into two sections: the grond floor and the roof which ahs an amazing view over the city. As in nearly every club and bar in the city a fancy dressing is required and the prices for drinks are quite high.

James Joyce is an Irish Bar in an Irish Cultural Centre in Istiklal Caddesi. All those you cannot get used to the chaotic life of Istanbul find a bolt-hole in James Joyce which has a club called U2 in the basement and two bars where they play Irish music in the background.
