Akmerkez
Akmerkez is an elegant shopping mall in the quarter of Etiler. It was opened in 1993 and covers an area of 180.000 m² with shops on four floors and two towers which offer 14 and 17 levels of office space and a third tower for residential usage. The shopping area includes up to 250 stores with a balanced shop mixture providing women’s, men’s, children’s clothing and textiles, toys, sports clothing, gifts, travel agents, shoes, supermarkets and tailors. There are also numerous restaurants and cafes which satisfy the shopper’s culinary needs. Nearly 2 – 2.5 million people visit the Akmerkez monthly.
Transportation services are provided free of charge for tourists staying in nearby business centers and hotels, allowing for a greater variety of visitors.

Atirus Shopping Center
This shopping centre in the suburb district of Büyükçekmece was opened in 2005 and is named after the location which was called Atirus in ancient times. The mall hosts up to 80 shops on 56.000 m². On three floors you have a diversity of stores, a Migros hypermarket and fast food restaurants as well as space for 63 offices. Approximately 1000 people have their jobs in this property and the car parking gives space to 700 cars.

Capitol Shopping Center
The Capitol Shopping Centre is located in the Altunizade quarter of Üsküdar and was opened in 1993 as the biggest shopping mall on the Asian side of the city. On 73.000 m², extending over 6 floors, 157 shops, supermarkets, movie theatres fast food restaurants, cafes and entertainment areas are housed. Nearly 1 million people visit the mall per month, mainly people from the east bank district of Istanbul.

Carousel Shopping Center
The Carousel Shopping Centre was opened in 1995 and is located in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul. It has 117 shops, fast food restaurants, cafes, movie theatres and entertainment centres on 76.500 m². About 1.5 million people visit the shopping mall monthly. Special attractions are discussion panels, art galleries with exhibitions, book signing sessions and topic weeks. The car parking is free for visitors.

CarrefourSA Maltepe Park
CarrefourSA Maltepe Park was opened in 2005 and is a joint venture of the French retail giant Carrefur with the Turkish Sabanci Holding. This modern shopping mall is located in the suburb of Maletepe hosts 102 stores, a hypermarket, fast food restaurants, an entertainment centre and movie theatre on three floors on a total of 71.000 m². The parking space has a capacity for 2500 cars.

Cevahir Mall
The Cehavir mall was opened in 2005 and is located in the district of Sisli. It is the largest shopping mall in Europe with a shopping area of 420.000 m² on six floors. There are 280 shops, 34 fast food restaurants, 14 exclusive restaurants and 12 cinemas. The car park has a capacity of 2500 cars. As the shopping centre lies in the business quarter of the European part of Istanbul, it can easily reached by metro. Three floors of the shopping centre are connected directly to the metro line. About 190.000 visitors come to the shopping mall daily.
