Café Golebia 3
This is in many ways a typical Krakowian café, romantically decorated with some rather random touches, and maintaining a comfortably casual atmosphere. There is a crowd of regulars, mainly women, who come in here to drink and chat in the afternoon. There is a lovely garden where you can sit if the weather is warm enough, and they offer good coffee, tea, juices, and more, and a delicious range of homemade cakes. One of the house specialties is Krupnik honey vodka, made from an ancient recipe.

Camera Café
A popular and decadent chocolate paradise, the Camera Café advertises itself as “Krakow’s first chocolate bar,” and features a delicious range of chocolate drinks, cakes, candies and more. There’s much more than chocolate on the menu, however, and you can also choose from a range of savoury snacks, or order a coffee, beer or cocktail, for example. The service is very good here.

Zblizenia
A decidedly hip café/bar in Kazimierz, this popular place has a sophisticated yet laid-back atmosphere, great drinks, and a hearty menu on offer during the day. The café intentionally remains something of a well-kept secret, as its simple door gives little indication of what lies behind.

Tajemniczy Ogrod Kazimierz
The name of this pub means “secret garden,” and is a friendly, hip and unique place to spend the evening. It’s located in the middle of Kasimierz, on the district’s most happening street, and features a series of cave-like rooms decorated in earthy pagan style. There are dried plants and branches on the walls, some primitive artwork, and many comfortable corners where you can chat or silently chill. The atmosphere here is warm and cozy and the service is very good.

Nic Nowego
This is a rather posh Irish pub, owned by a real Irishman, and is a popular bar with tourists. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the barmen are often found chatting with the customers like they are old friends. The pub is beautifully decorated in a sleek modern style, and has lots of interesting art and photography on the walls. As far as drinks go they feature Guinness, of course, as well as some Irish ales, a variety of mixed drinks, and much more. There is a hearty menu as well, with dishes ranging from Irish breakfast to local seafood dishes.

Piano Rouge
This is certainly not your average Krakow bar, as it combines baroque-style furniture, a Moulin Rougue type atmosphere, live piano music, and delicious food. Red is the dominant colour of the décor, with some gold sparkles to boot, and what could be incredibly kitchy somehow comes together to create a warm, unique ambiance that brings people back again and again. In addition to excellent food and drink, you can also choose from a classy selection of cigars.

Budda Drink & Garden
This quirky and fun bar has recently been renovated and made even more sumptuous and inviting. It features a beautiful courtyard in the front, leading to a cozy, two-level bar with colourful Indian décor and Kama Sutra-inspired artwork on the walls. The drinks are good and the interior is welcoming and attractive. If you come with a group of friends, the best place to sit is at the top of the tall, turban-like column, where there is a cushy, circular seating area at the top.
