Ardente Sole Foundation
Ardente Sole is the best dance company in Poland dedicated to early dance styles. They specialize in dance of the Renaissance and Baroque, and work to preserve traditional Polish dances from these periods, such as the polonaise, Poland’s national dance. They are in demand all over Europe as performers of early dance, but do many shows in their home venue in Krakow each year.
Slaski Theatre
This theatre is located in nearby Katowice, and is a very distinguished venue for dance as well as theatre and opera. The theatre has been around for more than a hundred years and has a long tradition of performing the classics as well as modern, cutting-edge productions. Renowned dance troupes from all over Europe perform here.
