Cyrano de Bergerac
One of the best restaurants in the city, Cyrano de Bergerac is located in a very charming and atmospheric cellar. The owner is a Polish woman who spent many years in France, and the cuisine is a mixture of gourmet French and old-style Polish. The food is memorable and delicious, and the décor is also unique, featuring antique furnishings full of character. The restaurant is popular with actors and art dealers for some reason, and has had some very famous people eat here over the years.

La Fontaine
Another cozy yet elegant cellar restaurant, La Fontaine features excellent classic French food, prepared by an award-winning chef. The atmosphere here is decidedly upscale, but not too pretentious either. In the summer there is a more casual terrace area. The service is always impeccable whether you sit inside or out.

Guliwer Restaurant
A cheerful and quaint restaurant that brings the atmosphere of the French countryside to Krakow, Guliwer serves delicious food inspired by French home cooking. This is a very cozy, friendly, and fresh place to eat, with lots of plants, bright décor, an open fireplace and a homey, wooden cottage feel. Redolfi
Located right on the main square, Redolfi is a popular and elegant place to sample modern French cuisine. The restaurant has been around since 1823, though it was originally an exclusive cake shop. Now it is one of the best restaurants in the heart of the city, and offers delicious and interesting salads, unusual starters such as salmon with lime sauce and honey, and many tasty and hearty main courses. Specialties include pork escalopes with juniper sauce and a variety of veal dishes with delicious sauces.
