Horai Restaurant
This restaurant is situated in what used to be a rather down-at-heel corner of Kazimierz, but is now becoming one of the city’s hip squares. The food at Horai includes Japanese, Thai, and Chinese specialties, but is perhaps best known for its sushi. There are also many curries, traditional Chinese dishes, and many delicious vegetarian options. Take-out is also possible.
Sakana Sushi Bar
A chic and very popular sushi bar, Sakana offers a variety of different Japanese delicacies, which come by those seated at the bar on a watery conveyor belt. The dishes are sitting on little wooden ships that float by, and are colour-coded to indicate the price. The restaurant certainly gets full marks for presentation, and the food lives up to it by being exceptionally fresh and tasty. Specialties include swordfish, tuna, and octopus sushi, combined with complimentary vegetables.
