Feira da Ladra
Lisbon's most famous market is the flea market, Feira da Ladra, also known as the "market of thieves". You can find here many bargains from cloths to books, from Portuguese tiles to African art and even cheap jewellery. Don't forget to negotiate; it is part of the custom.

Tue: 8 am - 1 pm, Sat: 8 am - 6 pm.

This is Lisbon's most popular food and fish market. The large market is covered with a large dome and vendors sell here very fresh seafood, fish, meat, vegetables, fruit and flowers. The second floor was converted into a touristy centre of local art and goods. You can find here good port wine, local cheeses, olive oil and nice hand crafts.

Mon - Sat: 6 am - 2 pm.
