Star of India
After having been completely refurbished, the restaurant became a nice place to dine out. The food is a wonderful mixture of East and West with fully flavoured curries and superb starters. The laid back service makes the dining more enjoyable than in other Indian restaurants.

Trendy restaurant above average serving nice curries and dishes made from fresh ingredients. The high quality of cooking and the nice preparation of dishes position the Red Fort at the cutting edge of London’s fine dining scene. All dishes served from the starters to the desert are a mixture of great western and eastern flavours. The contemporary environment with spaced tables create a comfortable dining atmosphere.

Café Lazeez
This Indian restaurant is a modern and trendy location serving Euro-Indian dishes in a nice atmosphere. The mixture of tradition and modern style food can be found in Soho and South Kensington.
The Great Nepalese
An uninspiring location, and not really Indian food, but this Nepalese restaurant is actually rather good. Unusual combinations of herbs and spices make their dishes both surprising and familiar. Inexpensive!
Cafe Spice Namaste
An upmarket Indian restaurant on the edge of the East End serving food in a large, airy room with white linen napkins. Buy jars of their home-made spicy pickles, good enough to take home. Expensive!

Lahore Kebab House
An informal place to get one of the best kebabs in town. Not the best place for vegetarians, but for meat eaters this Pakistani restaurant has a deservedly high reputation and loyal following. Watch the delicious nans being cooked in a traditional clay bread oven.
