Galería María Martín
A prestigious gallery exhibiting works by both Spanish and foreign artists, this one is unique for its focus on natural or “land art.” This means that nearly all of the works they display are in some way centered around nature. They might depict scenes from nature, but are often also made out of natural materials or incorporate bits such as leaves, pinecones, grass, shells, tree bark or flowers. Most of the works displayed are sculptures, and the secondary focus is on photography. This gallery has long participated in the ARCO and FIAC festivals, and artists who have exhibited here recently include Mayte Vieta, Daniel Blaufuks, Javier Garcerá, Javier Wolski and Pablo Pereira.
