A jumping dance club, this is known to be one of the hottest discos in town. There is dancing here the whole night long, and the music is new, hip and popular. Many musicians come to hang out and dance here, though the music is not live. It is also often frequented by models and local celebrities.

Palacio de Gaviria
This popular club and disco is located in the ballroom of a historic castle, giving it a unique appearance and atmosphere. As well as dancing and partying every day of the week, they also offer dance classes and teach tango, waltz and cabaret styles. The nightly open dancing usually has a theme, with salsa on Tuesdays, tango on Wednesdays and the “International Fiesta” on Thursdays. The admission fee includes a drink.

El Sol
This disco club is also a concert venue. For both dance music and concerts, they feature funk, hip-hop and acid jazz. They stay open until dawn, and things usually only get more lively and fun the longer you stay here. In addition to the energetic dance evenings, they host at least 25 concerts here a month.

Aqualung
This is another great dancing club, open all night. A unique feature here is the pool, very popular in summer. A variety of live entertainment also takes place here, such as concerts, karaoke. magicians and dance shows.

Kapital
This club is very large, with many different fun things going on at once. They have seven floors all together, and each one is like its own party. Two of the floors always have disco dancing, one is a karaoke bar, and the others vary depending on the night. This is a club where there is something for everyone.

Pachá
This disco has multiple dance floors and continuous music and is a popular place for students and young people to hang out. There are mostly locals here on weeknights, and the weekends fill up with tourists. It is a good place to meet interesting people any day of the week, and some come more to talk and drink than to dance.

Café de Chinitas
Located near the Gran Vía in the heart of Madrid’s nightlife area, this is one of the best flamenco clubs in the city. The dance shows feature mainly gypsy flamenco dancers from Madrid, Barcelona and Andalusia, and there is a new act with new dancers about every month. Dinner is served here, and you can arrive a bit before the show to enjoy a meal. Most locals just come later for the show and a drink, however. Reservations are recommended if you plan to eat.

Opening times: Mon - Sat dinner from 9 pm - 11 pm and show from 10.30 pm - 2 am

Entrance prices: € 66 for dinner and show, € 30 for show and one drink
