Donzoko
This restaurant has been around since 1974, and has developed quite a reputation. It is elegantly decorated in Oriental style, and has beautiful etched flower motifs and landscapes, wooden walls and black floors. They serve all the typical Japanese dishes such as sushi, tempura and sashimi, but their house specialty is sukiyaki, a meat and vegetable stew that is meant to be shared by a group of friends. The featured Japanese drinks include plum wine, sake and asahi beer, but there are also a number local Spanish wines on offer. Prices are quite reasonable, especially for a Japanese restaurant, averaging around € 18 for a meal.

The first thing you notice about this restaurant from outside is its wonderful sushi bar, but once you venture inside, there are three different dining areas. The presentation here is beautiful and elaborate, with attention given to every detail. The main specials are sushi and tempura, and the green tea is exquisite. The atmosphere here is one of sedate and elegant sophistication. The set meal of the day costs € 12, but the average cost here is closer to € 25.
