Al-Mounia
An intimate and elegant little restaurant, Al-Mounia offers Moroccan and other North African dishes. The couscous and tagine entrees are delicious, and the house specialty is barbecued lamb or meshoui. Guests eat on low, round tables in a room tastefully decorated with Arabic furnishings and décor. The ceiling is of note, featuring a number of figures in bas relief. The staff here is efficient and very polite. There is also a tearoom next door that is part of the restaurant.
Opening times: Tues - Thurs 1.30 pm - 4 pm and 9 pm - 11.30 pm, Fri and Sat 1.30 pm - 4 pm and 9 pm - 12 am
