As a lively European metropolis Milan presents itself as a city with an abundance of bars, cafes, bistros and pubs. Especially in the Navigli quarter and around the canals in the South West of the city up to the Porta Ticinese there are many good bars and cafes located. North of the Duomo and around the Pinacoteca Brera many boutiques host enjoyable cafes, restaurants and clubs. Also hotel often have nice bars and o very good restaurants. Most of the locations are open until 1 am, clubs usually until 4 am. Most of the, however, are closed on Mondays.
