Fujikaiten
Fujikaiten is an Asian restaurant which concentrates on Japanese delicacies but also offers Chinese and Thai food. The prices are moderate and definitely adequate for the good quality of the food. The interior is very simple but still elegant and the service is utterly attentive and friendly. The Ginza Bar on the first floor serves cocktails, Japanese beer, wine and sushi from a turning table.
J-Bar
The J-Bar is a typical Japanese restaurant with Japanese chefs, Japanese guests and excellent Japanese solid food and specialities. No matter if Japanese stew or other delicacies, the J-Bar has it. During summer you can have you meal on the nice terrace.

Kaito
Offering a Tatami corner and excellent fresh Japanese cuisine Kaito might be the best Japanese restaurant in Munich. The sushi chef has a special education which can be noticed in the preparation of the dishes. The Sashimi are tender and also all the other food is of best quality with a great taste. Especially the dips and sauces are well prepared. The choice of sake and green tea is very special but prices are higher than average.

Ohayou
An authentic Japanese cuisine in a simple environment is what can be expected from Ohayou. Sitting on tatami on the floor and eating sashimi and sushi makes you feel like in little Tokyo. Sushi is available already from 5 €, especially during sushi happy hour the sushi is quite affordable. There is also a 10 % discount on all food you take away.

Sasou
Th Sasou is located on the ground floor of the Café Glockenbach at the Marienplatz. A big glass window makes it possible to have a look at the preparation of the food which can be taken in self-service. Besides sushi the menu includes a variety of soups, noodles, Thai curries, Indian lassi or fresh juices. Freshness, health and lightness are the main pillars of Sasou’s cuisine. There is also a take-away at the window side of Rosenstraße.

Toshi
Toshi is a well-attended sushi paradise where the fish is so fresh and tender that you don’t want to go anywhere else anymore. The interior is very elegantly kept in red and dark colours which give an authentic Japanese atmosphere. The service is friendly and obliging which makes staying there even more comfortable. Toshi is therefore a recommendable place which is worth the high prices.
