Kunst & Spiel
Kunst & Spiel is one of the oldest shops for wooden toys. For already 50 years the shelves are filled with an incredible number of toys, literature and colourful accessories for kids that are geared to the philosophy of Waldorf education. Children should build up their own creativity and fantasy. That is why all toys are made from wood, clay or felt. But of course they also have classical toys such as dolls, soft toys and hand puppets.
Opening times:
Mo 1 pm – 7 pm, Tues – Fr 10 am – 7 pm, Sat 10 am – 4 pm
Nostalgie im Kinderzimmer
The idea was offering antique furniture for children and toys to a broader clientele. Since 1999 people can find special and fondly made products from nostalgic to modern toys. About 2000 different products are included in the assortment for example furniture, textiles, accessories, toys by labels like GreenGate, Cath Kidston or Käthe Kruse. Sometimes you even find things in this shop that you cannot find anywhere else. A real treasure chest!
Since 2004 products can also be ordered in the online shop.
Flügels Spiel- und Holzwerkstatt
Flügels is actually not a traditional toy shop but a studio for wood works. Beside the restoration of furniture and the selling of wooden furniture they also sell wooden toys. Hand-made products which are valuable for a child’s education. Rocking horses, tracks for taws, small shops, hand puppets and much more are produced in Flügels Spiel- und Holzwerkstatt. This shop is definitely a speciality amongst children’s stores.

Mo – Fr 10 am – 1 pm and 3 pm – 6.30 pm, Sat 10 am – 1 pm
