This dance club is located near La Sorbonne and is very popular. A favourite place to dance for students for more than 50 years, it is also frequented by many tourists. The music varies, though often features jazz. Drinks start at € 3.

Le Batofar
This bar/club is located on a boat on the Seine and is a very scenic and unique place to spend an evening. The décor is flashy and trendy and the drinks are supurb. Several electronic music concerts are given here, and the DJs are internationally known. Different evenings are devoted to different themes, such as video nights, Sunday concerts and themes that vary from week to week.

Favela Chic
This club is dedicated to salsa dance, and includes Paris’s best Brazilian bar. The club is cozily and exotically decorated with bright colours and a variety of plants. Cocktails are a specialty, and the music is always good.

Moloko
This is one of the only clubs in the city that lets the visitors choose the music, with a juke box with almost 1500 albums. The club is divided into several small rooms and tends to get very smoky. Many people come to dance, but it is also common to just talk and drink. Drinks are on the pricey side, and feature home-made cocktails as well as beer and wine.
