Laterna Magica
Founded in 1958 by Alfred Radok and Josef Svoboda for the World Fair in Brussels as a production for the Czech pavilion. The theatre in the Národní třída street in Prague took over the name and presented the famous program of Brussels. In the middle of the 80s the Laterna Magica became part of the National Theatre in Prague. The theatre passes on voices and concentrates on projections, dance, music, light and pantomime. Laterna Magica wants to find new ways to a specific theatre which is able to tell a story by using different methods and topics.
