U vladare
Founded in 1776 this restaurant has a long tradition in the hospitality life of Prague. But it has preserved its charming character which makes a visit to an experience of century-old styl and grace. The restaurant is divided into four sections: the restaurant itself, the wine cellar, the terrace and the club area. The U vladare is a restaurant for all occasions and for every time of the day serving Czech and Prague dishes.

Mucha
The two brothers Alfons and Jiri Mucha, both artists, brought up the idea of opening a restaurant that would carry their names. In 1992 the Mucha was opened oeffering an atmosphere of the early 20’s of the last century. The interior presents posters of Alfons Mucha and original furniture. The location is in the centre next to the Old Town Square.
Jan Paukert
This old „Gentleman club“ is located close to Wenzel Square and serves old Czech specialities like pheasant breast. The restaurant is a wine bar as well serving bottles filled before 1938. The choice is broad and the offer of cheeses, pâtés and cold starters of fish and sea fruit excellent.
Hanavský Pavilon
The restaurant is characterised by its beautiful pseudo-baroque interior, its culinary art products and the fascinating look to Prague’s bridges and towers. The menu includes an international cuisine as well as old Bohemian dishes and a speciality of fresh fish. The dishes can be accompanied by beverages, wines, beers and spirits. The restaurant can host 36 guests and 80 guests on the terrace. The restaurant is suitable for parties, company lunches and dinners, weddings and family celebrations.
U Kalicha
This is the best known restaurant abroad. It is located in The Na Bojišti Street, in short walking distance of the Wenceslas Square where the Good soldier Švejk entered the history of WWI. Although the restaurant is typical Czech with savory Czech food, large beer and lively Czech music, the guests are mainly tourists. But nevertheless, the restaurant is always very well visited, so a booking in advance is recommendable.

Cerny kun
In the “Black Horse” as it is translated you can get excellent lamb chops and South Bohemian kolac. But you can also get a diversity of Czech and continental food to reasonable prices. Accompanied are the meals with Czech and German wines as well as Czech beers. This cellar restaurant is located in the Lucerna passage in the Stepanska Street and is always busy, especially after 10 pm when clubbing people or concert goers come by for a drink. The ambience is rustic with traditional Czech wooden decoration. The staff is friendly and speaks both English and German.
