Bookstore Academia
This bookstore is the publishing house of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. It has two locations, one on the Wenceslas Square and one in Vodičkova Street. They have a wide choice of quality literature and offer a 15% discount for students on all books published by their own publishing house.

Big Ben Bookshop
An English bookshop offering all kinds of books from dictionaries, course books to fictional and non-fictional books. They are very up to date and have a wide choice of popular volumes as well as most of the bestsellers. If you cannot find anything in the store you can book it on their website.

Kranzelsberger Bookshop
This multi- leverl bookstore is a family business offering a great selection of domestic and foreign literature. On the groudn floor you can find a wide range of Czech literature and their translations into other foreign languages such as German, Italian, Russian and English. Beside literature the assortment includes art books, non-fiction, newspapers, textbooks, cooking books, ect.
Na Mustku
A nice little bookshop next to the Mustek metro stop. The assortment includes books in Czech as well as English, German, and other languages. They also sell posters, calendars, postcards, etc.
Shakespeare and Sons
Located outside the city centre, the Shakespeare and Sons can be found in a residential neighbourhood. They have a wide selection of English and German books. Included is a coffee bar where you can side all day, enjoy a book and a drink far away from the tumult of the touristy city centre.
