Pathé Buitenhof
A large, modern cinema right in the middle of Rotterdam, Pathé has a nice variety of films on offer at any one time. Most of them are blockbusters and major international releases, and there are always some children’s films.
Theater Lantaren/Venster
Both a cinema and a theatre, this venue specialises in art films and small-scale dance and theatre performances. There are four different film studios, and there are viewings every evening. The theatre is located in the centre of the city and presents films all year round. The drama program, however, runs from September to May.
Cinerama Rotterdam
Cinerama is a classic old cinema with seven studios, each with many seats, and has a nice variety of films. They show many blockbusters, some art films, and films from many different countries. There is also a lounge where you can get drinks and snacks and hang out before the shows.
