Loos
This restaurant has genuinely delicious food for prices in the mid - high range. They also have a bar menu that is significantly cheaper, but then you will miss out on the good food Loos is known for. Specialties from the main menu include roasted pepper and smoked apple soup, monkfish with truffle butter sauce, and steak with Armagnac-soaked raisins and a duck liver and truffle sauce. The décor of the restaurant is interesting, with a large mirror on one wall that appears to double the size of the restaurant, and palm trees providing some privacy between the tables. All major credit cards are accepted.
Opening times: Mon - Fri lunch and dinner, Sat and Sun dinner only
Boudoir
This restaurant is French with some Mediterranean influences, and has become a trendy place to eat. The interior is lavishly decorated and the staff is generally friendly. There is a nice outdoor eating area in the warm weather. Prices average around € 41 for a multi-course meal, and the fixed-priced menus start at € 30.
De Harmonie
A romantic restaurant with excellent food, De Harmonie is a delightful place for a meal. The staff is quite formal, but they are attentive and try to treat you right. The restaurant caters to different dining needs, and offer halal, lactose-free, gluten-free, and children’s dishes. There are some rare and unusual wines on the wine list, as well as some high-quality favourites. The restaurant is quiet, with no loud music, and mobile phones are not allowed. The prices are on the high side, but you won’t be disappointed.
La Vilette
The food and service are both very good here, and despite the priciness (three-course meals average around € 68, and the minumim fixed-price menu is € 38), the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and everyone feels at home. It is a place to come for quiet conversation and romantic meals, as there is no loud music. There are lactose and gluten-free dishes as well.
