Teatro Central
The Teatro Central is a public theatre house located on the Catuja Island next to the
amusement park Isla Magica. It offers a wide range of vanguard mostly contemporary
drama and music performances including jazz, theatre, flamenco and rock. It is equipped
with disabled access and toilets.

Teatro Lope de Vega
The Teatro Lope de Vega is a small baroque style theatre located between the University of Seville and Maria Luisa park in a building that was also constructed for the Ibero-American Exhibition in 1929. It has an excellent program of musical and theatrical performances including some of the most important national theatre companies. The interior of the theatre is extraordinary and can be described as a mixture of nobility and grandmother’s home. Tickets for some of the performances can be purchased cheaply.
Teatro de la Maestranza
This extraordinary theatre opened in 1992 and can be considered to be one of the best opera houses in Spain along with the Liceo in Barcelona and the Teatro de la Opera in Madrid. Apart from opera they have drama, dance and classical concerts on their program including performances of the Royal Symphonic Orchestra of Seville. The whole building has disabled facilities.
Teatro Imperial
This former cinema is located in the center of Seville is mainly dedicated to works of Spanish authors and performances of Spanish songs. Although the house changed from cinema to theatre performances, the old ambience is still alive in the decoration.
The Auditorio (Auditorium)
The Auditorium is an open-air theatre which hosts large concerts throughout the whole year thanks to Seville’s nice climate.

Teatro Municipal Alameda
This theatre mainly works with independent groups and every year in May it hosts the Puppets and Marionettes Festival and other theatre series for children.
