Public Transportation
The best and easiest way to get around Seville is definitely by foot but nevertheless it is important to mention that Seville has a pretty efficient public transport network. Most of the bus routes circle the main areas of the city operating from Plaza Nueva, Plaza de la Encarnacion, La Barqueta and Prado de San Sebastian. It is worth to purchase a ticket which is valid for several single journeys but there are also many options for tourists such as a one day or three day pass or the Seville Cultural Card which does not only allow free admission to most of the city’s attractions but also includes unlimited usage of the public transport network.

By bus
As the country coaches, busses that run in Seville are the easiest and cheapest way to get around. The network is arranged by circular (C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4 busses) and line routes north, south, east and west). Busses ara available at Puerta de Jerez, Plaza de la Encarnación, LA Barqueta and Prado de San Sebastian. A single ticket costs € 1 each way but can also be purchased in groups of 10. Also monthly passes are available. Tickets and passes are sold by many shops, news stands and hotels. There you can also get rout maps and schedules.

Taxis
Taxis are also an option to get around the city or travel from and to the airport. The lights on taxis are indicating if a taxi is free or not. Most of the taxis are new models with a lot of room but it is also possible to call for a van or a larger taxi if necessary. Short cab rides cost between € 3 and € 6 for two people. From or two the airport the fee for a taxi is around € 18 to € 20 depending on weekday or public holiday. Usually taxis can be found in the main streets and places but just in case there is none, taxi stands are at the Plaza del Duque, Plaza de la Encarnación, Plaza Alfalfa and Plaza de Cuba.
